AP Diving Announces the opening of it’s new Warehouse in the Netherlands.

AP Diving are very pleased to announce the opening of their fully owned subsidiary company in The Netherlands, A.P. Diving Europe BV.

The new AP Diving Europe warehouse, located in Voorschoten, near Leiden, is Ambient Pressure Diving’s distribution hub for the EU Countries.

At the start it will be a simple parcel distribution hub for sending orders and receiving parcels to and from customers located in the EU. Customer contact will still be through our experienced staff in the UK but the VAT and product shipping will be handled in The Netherlands. You will receive an invoice from A.P. Diving BV.

EU customers can now order direct from the apdiving.eu website or from the AP UK office by telephone 0044 1326 563834 or email: [email protected]

Orders placed by EU customers from 26th July 2021 will be quoted in Euros, including VAT where appropriate, and the goods will be sent directly from The Netherlands, removing the Brexit-created need for customers to make separate payments to the carrier for the VAT and customs handling fees.

By shipping in bulk from AP UK to AP NL, the cost of customs handling per item is kept to a minimum and all customs paperwork will be handled by AP, converting the products to “free movement” status within the EU. This applies to all consumables including oxygen sensors and Sofnolime.

The big advantage to this is that small value spare parts can be purchased without incurring disproportionally high customs charges.

This new system will enable EU customers once again to make one payment and then simply have the products delivered to them by post or by carrier, the same as buying from AP Diving prior to Brexit.

Customers requiring products serviced, please contact Nicky or Sarah ([email protected], [email protected]) before sending the products, but those who live in the EU, the method after the 2nd August,  will be to send the products, with a covering letter to  A.P. Diving Europe BV,  where AP will take care of the paperwork and customs.

AP Diving will be exhibiting at both the Salon de la Plongée in Paris and Boot Düsseldorf in January.
