As part of the merging of two of diving\u2019s most innovative companies – AP Valves and Ambient Pressure Diving (and to avoid confusion) we\u2019ve simplified the naming of many of our product lines, especially the BUDDY range. So the changes are\u2026<\/p>\n
BUDDY Commando \u2192 becomes The AP Commando (by AP Diving)
\nBUDDY\u00a0Explorer \u00a0\u2192 becomes The\u00a0AP Commando Explorer
\nBUDDY\u00a0Commando Escape \u2192 becomes The\u00a0AP Commando Escape
\nBUDDY\u00a0Travelwing \u00a0\u2192 becomes The\u00a0AP\u00a0Travelwing
\nBUDDY\u00a0Tekwing \u2192 becomes The\u00a0AP Tekwing
\nBUDDY\u00a0Trident \u2192 becomes The\u00a0AP Trident
\nBUDDY\u00a0Redwing \u2192 becomes The\u00a0AP Redwing<\/p>\n
All BUDDY Accessories have now been renamed: AP Accessories – the AP SMB, the AP Lift Bag, the AP Pocket Reel etc etc.<\/p>\n
But for those who just can\u2019t let go – we\u2019ve still got the BUDDY BLAST\u00a0air horn and the BUDDY Line.\u00a0\u00a0(…because they do exactly what they say on the tin\u2026 give your buddy a blast or a line!)<\/p>\n
As we explain to divers at the Shows, the difference between the Inspiration, the Evolution and the Evolution Plus essentially boils down to\u2026 Small, Medium and Large.<\/p>\n
In effect they are all the same unit but with different chassis sizes and different cylinder and scrubber sizes. Other than that\u2026 it’s the same rebreather. \u00a0They are all AP Inspirations – just different models.<\/p>\n
So, the new names are:<\/p>\n
The Inspiration Classic\u00a0\u2192 stays The Inspiration Classic<\/p>\n
The Inspiration \u2192\u00a0becomes\u00a0the\u00a0AP Inspiration XPD<\/p>\n
The Evolution \u2192\u00a0becomes\u00a0the\u00a0AP Inspiration EVO<\/p>\n
The Evolution Plus \u2192\u00a0becomes\u00a0the\u00a0AP Inspiration EVP<\/p>\n
All Inspirations\u2026 different models but all with the same great options and upgrades available to all of them.<\/p>\n
